I ran the upgrade using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter in place of the Intel drivers 910bml everything has checked out fine so far. Why is there no option to get gns of the upgrade nag? Our other netbook - much more modern does not have any incompatibilities highlighted but the upgrade to Windows 10 was unsuccessful as there is no graphics driver for it.
