Well in my new dorm I plunged in my phone for it to charger and it said "unauthorized chager" but back at my other dorm room it didnt have any problem chargering. The other way is to get a new motorola branded charger- they run about dollars at your local big-box retailer. But if it did not charge and you still get the same message, it means the charging port on your phone is the problem, the charging port on your phone is bad and can not read the charger, so you will need to replace or change the charging port on your phone. Because of this, the use of certain accessories with your phone may differ, and functionality may vary from carrier to carrier. No help from VX customer service.
